Value points is a points table were each individual player is awarded with points based upon their past perfomance.
Value points is used to replace the players who are not playing in the provided teams (Team A, Team B, Team C, Team D).
This replacements are done after the playing 11 of both the teams is announced.
Value points table is dynamic it may change from match to match according to the player performance.
When a player in the provided teams is not playing then the next available player in the points table is swapped with the current player.
The swapping is done only based on batsmen.
For example, it is announced before the match starts that a batsman in TEAM A is not going to play for that day. Don't worry, the player is then replaced with the next available player from the player category ( Batesman, Bowler, Wicket Keeper & All Rounder) of the value points table.
The players are always replaced with those from same category. In worst case, if there is no next player available in the value points table of same category, then TEAM A will play only with 10 players.
But another category player is not used for swapping.
